Gone With The RAINBOW

RAINBOW MARK..?

Japan tour 1995

Remembering three years ago... "He" dropped out of Deep Purple before coming to Japan, so our dream -we'd like to meet the band containing "him"- was broken by "himself". The unlucky happening disappointed many of us. When could we truly meet him next time ? The answer was replied this year. "He" just reforms the old -absolutely controlled- band, and returns to hard rock scene now.
I didn't need to see the opener (Japanese spray-hair band no worthy seeing -at least for HR/HM fan-), so I entered the arena 45 minutes later. All people sat down very quiet. I feel like coming classical concert. (I heard from my friend that the cause is the opener...)
As soon as I found my seat and sat down, the lights were off...
Openning tape is usual "Wizard Of Oz" everybody knows. All stand up with exicitments. A back screen displayed the jacket of a new album, and it changed to seven-colored half-circle soon.
The band appears, playing the famous intro. We all welcome. Ritchie Blackmore comes back to Japan with RAINBOW at last!!
